I’m Candice, an organised and customer-focused bookstore manager with over 11 years of experience in retail operations, inventory control and staff supervision. I specialise in creating welcoming, well-run retail spaces that connect readers with the books and resources they love.

My approach is structured, people-oriented and detail-driven. I enjoy balancing the operational side of retail from stock management to supplier coordination  with the customer experience that makes a bookstore feel like a community hub.

I hold a certificate in Retail Management and a valid driver’s license. I am also currently studying part-time towards a Diploma in Business Administration to strengthen my management and leadership skills.

Rates

Hourly Support/Consultation: R200 – R300
Part-Time Store Assistance (per day): R750 – R1,000
Monthly Contract (part-time, 3 days/week): R6,500 – R8,000
Monthly Contract (full-time, 5 days/week): R12,000 – R15,000

📍 Location: Midrand & Centurion, Gauteng
📆 Availability:
🔴 Available for short-term projects, holiday retail support, or long-term contracts
🔴 Flexible to support evening/weekend bookstore events

Languages: English (fluent), Afrikaans (conversational)
Qualifications: Certificate in Retail Management | Driver’s License | Diploma in Business Administration (in progress)
